Is there any effort to unify the Draft Bloomberg movement, particularly with the group at www.draftmichael.com (I am also a member of that group). I think it would be helpful if a united effort were presented.

Our efforts at this point are not directed at gaining ballot access for Mike Bloomberg as an Independent-Green party candidate. So far, our approach is that we support Mike under whichever banner he chooses to run. Multiple approaches might be necessary to keep the movement going, so while we are unaffiliated we applaud your efforts.

I am in no way a representative of the group I mentioned before. I simply have signed up for their e-mail updates. However, I think if a draft movement is going to be effective, it should unite the various groups who support the candidate under the common theme of getting that candidate to actually run. A united front is the best front, in my opinion. I am actually a Democrat (though certainly not a liberal or a partisan by any means), not an independent Green. However, I think the group that I have mentioned does have some advantages, particularly in organization and members, including two of the founding members of Unity08.
I'd just like to here what others think about uniting with other draft groups.
